The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) kicked off the 2017-2018 school year Aug. 30 as 650 new and returning students were welcomed for the first day of the school. Students were greeted at the doors by administrators who handed each of them a rose, an annual tradition that began when the school first opened almost 15 years ago. “The rose tradition is so welcoming and
