LIFE Senior programs highlighted

National Living Independence for the Elderly Month is being celebrated for the first time this September. LIFE Programs in Pennsylvania are part of the national PACE program, a Medicare and Medicaid- funded program that provides all healthcare and personal support services so that older adults can continue living at home. There is no cost to participate for people who are 55 or older and Medicaid-eligible.

LIFE Program participants receive all medical, social and personal support services including a team of doctors, nurses, home care aides, therapists, social workers, dietitians, drivers and others who provide direct care and services to meet the individual needs.
