Hair

I wonder why when God gave us hair, he didn’t take a bit more care.

It seems as though he got confused and got mixed up with what he used!

The heads with lots of hair on top complain it’s too much work to crop,

While balding ones would surely pay to keep the hair some throw away.

The ones with natural curly hair don’t seem to want the curls up there.

Still others have to work and save to get their super-curly wave.

Red heads change their hair to black, then turn around and grow it back.

Brunettes are not so hard to please, but still they change their hair to tease.

Natural blondes do get accused of “buying” theirs (what did you use)?

Still other people switch to blonde to see if they could have more fun!

Now we all know if you have gray, you surely color it away.

The ones who should be treating hair are those that really just don’t care!

The mousy grays are here to stay; they hope it soon will go away.

They dream of locks pure snowy white, but, meantime now, their hair’s a fright!

It seems whatever’s on our head, we want a different kind instead.

So, God, if you could change your plan, and when the heads you cover,

Just take the hair off this one, and put it on the other!
