Moore Township: Breakfast planned for Sunday

Point Phillips Rod & Gun Club, 1035 Smith Gap Road, is having an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8-11:30 a.m. Sept. 10. There is a cost.

Also, on Sept. 17, Point Phillips is hosting a gun and meat raffle from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, is having its Rally Day starting 9 a.m. Sept. 10. This is a time to register for Sunday school and confirmation.

There also will be games, singing and fun activities.

Moore Township Land Preservation Board will host its annual open house 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Moore Township Municipal Building, 2491 Community Drive. A presentation on land preservation will be followed by a question-and-answer period.

The board encourages all Moore Township residents who are considering preserving their land or who would like to learn more about the preservation process to attend.

The township’s Lions and Lioness clubs are sponsoring the 22nd annual car show and craft and flea market. The event will begin 9 a.m. Sept. 17 at the Moore Township Recreation Center, located off English Road, Route 946.

There will be a deejay, raffles, trophies and food.

Vehicle registration donations will be accepted.

The rain date is Sept. 24.
