Coplay: Picnic planned at American Club Sept. 9

On Sept. 9, American Club of Coplay will hold one of the largest picnics in town, a family-orientated affair, at the pavilion at its grounds off Cherry Street and Stone Alley.

Attended by hundreds, the picnic, which includes a modest fee, features live bands, events for children and a huge variety of food. Enjoy everything from halupkies to hot dogs.

Also on Sept. 9, the club will celebrate its 81st anniversary.
