Carmen V. Davis, 87, of Emmaus, died Sept. 2, 2017, in Moravian Village. She was the wife of Raymond F. Davis, with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage in June. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Molchan) Rivera.
She was a graduate of Liberty High School and Bethlehem Business College.
She worked for Bethlehem Steel as a secretary and was the President of Davis Construction and Steel Erectors, Inc.
She was a member of the Junior Aid Society and was vice president of the Alton Park Youth Association.
She was a member of Palm Schwenkfelder Church.
She is survived by her husband; son, Scott D. and his wife Patricia; daughter, Nancy L. and her husband Ron Schmidt; brothers, Charles J. Rivera and Richard L. Rivera; grandchildren Brooke, Scott Junior, Kate, Derek, Travis and Nicole; great-grandchildren Carly, Elijah and Michael.
Flowers are welcomed as a symbol of her love for them.
A calling hour will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Sept. 7 in Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm. Funeral service will begin 11 a.m. in the church.
