A new plaque at the main library honoring the birthplace of 20th century poet Hilda Doolittle (1886 –1961), known as H.D., will be unveiled at 4 p.m. Sept. 8. There will be readings of her work.

The Bethlehem Area Public Library is being added to a national list of Literary Landmarks. The designation is the result of a partnership between the library and Lehigh University.
