Adam E. Chickey Jr., 71, of Bethlehem, died at home on August 24, 2017. He was a son of the late Esther (Cope) and Adam E. Chickey Sr. He was the husband of Marianne P. (Fidmik) Chickey for 49 years.

He was a member of the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

He was a senior water controller for the City of Bethlehem Water and Sewer Resources Department from which he retired after 35 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Brian and his wife Francesca; a daughter, Meg; a brother, Joseph Chickey; and a sister, Tina Chickey.

He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Chickey; and a sister, Stephanie Chickey.
