Catasauqua Fire Police will have a flea market 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 2 at the fire training grounds, Race Street. Food and drinks will be available for sale.

From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 3 at the George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets, George Taylor will be leading the 3rd Pennsylvania Revolutionary War Re-enactors, portraying the Northampton County militia and conducting camp life, assembly and drill of the troops as it was during the Revolutionary War.
George Taylor will be speaking 2 p.m. Tours will also be conducted during the afternoon.

“Gardening for Butterflies and Hummingbirds” is the colorful key topic for the Sept. 6 meeting of Catasauqua Garden Club. Lori Metz, a Pennsylvania master gardener, will discuss how to make your garden more attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.
The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.
Folks with items for display and/or judging should have them in place early, so the meeting can start on time.
Curious and garden-friendly visitors are welcome to share the hospitality and interest in gardening!

On Sept. 16, Catasauqua High School’s Class of 1966 is having its class reunion at North Catasauqua Park from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s a BYOB event, and the class will provide soda, water, cake, appetizers, 2 p.m.; and the meal, 4 p.m.
