William L. Sipos, 89, formerly of Salisbury Township, died Aug. 23, 2017, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Lillian A. (Roth) Sipos. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ludwig and Clara (Opez) Sipos.

He served in the U.S. Navy and the Seabees during World War II.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

He was employed at Mack Trucks, retiring in 1987. He previously worked at Grammes-McCord in Allentown for 24 years.

He enjoyed woodworking and gardening in his spare time.

He is survived by a sister, Helen M. Erie, of Allentown; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Christine, John and Ludwig.
