Theresa Nieves, 56, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 22, 2017, while in the care of St. Luke’s Hospice House and her family. She was a daughter of Juan Nieves of Bethlehem and the late Miquelina Nieves.

She worked in customer service for HOP Energy.

She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Trisha Puyarena of Bethlehem and Tamara and her husband Michael Sobkow of Philadelphia; a son, Timothy Byrd of Delaware; a brother, Juan Nieves Jr.; two sisters, Doreen Kish and Maria Nieves; and four grandchildren.
