Lois R. Abbott, 72, died Aug. 14, 2017, at Luther Crest, South Whitehall Township. Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of B. Eleanor (Smith) Reppert, of Blandon and the late Arlan Reppert.

She was a librarian at Emmaus High School for over 20 years. Previously, she was a librarian in the Fleetwood School District.

She graduated from Kutztown with a bachelor’s degree in library science and received her master’s degree from Villanova University.

She is survived by her mother; sons, Michael J. Shults, of Nazareth and Andrew B. Shults, of Chicago, Ill.; brother, David Reppert and his wife Donna, of Leesport; granddaughter, Jenna Shults.
