Carol N. Wigfield, 77, of Emmaus, died in her home Aug. 21, 2017. She was the wife of Edward C. Wigfield. They would have observed their 60th wedding anniversary next month. Born in Bryn Mawr, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Ruth D. (Powell) Altemus.

She was self employed as a piano and vocal teacher.

She was an avid quilter and a member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by her husband; children, Edward C. Jr. and his wife, Cindy; Kathi L. and her husband David Schlier; Susan B.; Janice E. and her husband Robert Harris; David P. and his wife, Cheryl; Elizabeth and her husband Jeffrey Kuhns; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 24 at Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St., Emmaus. Calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 23 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus and 10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 24 in the church.
