Donald “Pop” D. Easton, 89, of Walnutport and formerly of Coplay, died Aug. 20, 2017, in his home. He was the husband of the late Florencia (Ongais) Easton and Beatrice (Crick) Easton.
Born in Matton, Ill., he was a son of the late Don and Virgie (Eveland) Easton.
He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a terminal manager for Agway Petroleum Corporation, formerly Phillips Petroleum Corporation, Macungie, retiring in 1989. He earlier worked for Phillips Petroleum Pipeline in various states for 15 years.
He was a member of Life in Christ Church, Bethlehem.
He volunteered in the social hall of NOVA EMS, Coplay.
He is survived by six children, Clinton D. and his companion Carol A. Farole of Walnutport, Ronald R. of Illinois, Michael L. and his wife Jocelyn of South Carolina, Robert N. of Walnutport, Rebecca A. Mangas of California and Sandra A. Mack of Florida; a stepson, Michael A. Owen of Danielsville; three stepdaughters, Cynthia R. Martnick of Bethlehem, Deborah S. Grimm of New Ringgold and Donna I. White of Walnutport; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation 6:30-8:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service 8:30 p.m., Aug. 24 at the funeral home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Interment with military honors will be held 9:30 a.m. Aug. 25 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1500 Airport Road, Allentown.
