Ronald J. Colfer, 78, of Wescosville, died Aug. 13, 2017, at Whitehall Manor. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Grace (Carr) Colfer.

He earned his MBA from Lehigh University and his bachelor’s degree from Moravian College.

He was the owner of Alro Associates, Allentown for several years. He previously co-founded Solar Technologies, worked for National Lift for 10 years, and began his career as vice president of Strato Lift, Morgantown, where he worked for more than 25 years.

He was an Army veteran and grew up in the Moravian faith.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey; brother, Robert and his wife, Diane; nephews, Rick and his wife, Mel and their children and grandchildren, and Chad; niece, Kelly and sister-in-law, Joan. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Aug. 16 at Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
