Wendy G. Brantley, 58, died recently. She was a daughter of Elsie Quinn.
She was a Dieruff High School graduate and went to Florida A&M University.
She was a meter maid and a parks department employee with the City of Allentown. She worked for the City of Allentown, Catasauqua Borough and Lafayette College police departments and for the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
She was a security guard for Allentown School District.
She received three awards for her work with children.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister, Marie Deeds of Allentown; three brothers, Theodore and his wife Ann of Lock Haven, Edward and his wife Donna of Plains and Roderick and his wife Deidre of Bethlehem; an uncle; aunts; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
There will be a visitation time 9 a.m., followed by a service 11 a.m., Aug. 17 at Union Baptist Church, 302 N. Sixth St., Allentown. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, 15th Street and Roth Avenue, Allentown.
