Anthony Hien, 88, of Lehigh Township, died Aug. 3, 2017, at home. He was the husband of the late Elvira R. (Weber) Hien.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Anton and Francisca (Streifeneder) Hien.

He was a brewer for over 33 years, working at Schaefer Brewery in Brooklyn and Fogelsville.

He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant.

He is survived by two daughters, Katherine and her husband Garen Lindsay and Margaret and her husband Gene Fish; a son, Eric Hien; nine grandchildren, Brian, Shannon, Michael, Kevin, Maureen, Kathleen, Brandon, Colin and Garrett; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
