Favorite subject: Calculus because I find it fascinating that there are multiple ways to solve and perceive every problem
Activities: Cross country, Student Council president, school board representative, lacrosse, captain of BASD Mini-THON, vice president of Future Business Leaders of America
Next steps: Attend a four-year university to study biology and business
Career goals: Become a doctor and/or entrepreneur
Heroes: Hugh O’Brien because he created the Hugh O’Brien Youth Organization which inspired me to become very involved in community service through leadership
Hobbies: Running, baking, cooking, playing piano
Volunteer/community work: 350-plus hours with St. Luke’s Hospital, Easter Seals, Special Olympics
Likes: Running, baking, cooking, playing piano and puppies
Greatest accomplishment (so far): Piano performance at Carnegie Hall
Advice for peers: My advice for peers is to remember that everything happens for a reason; a setback or failure now may be making room for a greater success in the future.
