Anna M. Marcisin, 96, of Bethlehem and formerly of Sebastian, Fla., died August 2, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Anna and Andrew Sabo of Hellertown. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Marcisin for 59 years.
She was a Hellertown HS graduate and attended Northampton Community College.
She worked in the general services department for 30 years at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation until she reted in 1980.
She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where she was past president of the 55+ Club, taught C.C.D., was an Eucharistic Minister and was active in the Autumn Fest. She was a past member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Fla., where she was a lector, an Eucharistic Minister and taught C.C.D. She was a co-director of four church musicals.
She was a member of St. Anne’s Sodality, the Knights of Columbus ladies auxiliary and the Ecumenical Council of Churches. She was a volunteer for the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Immigration Naturalization Service and at election polls.
She is survived by a sister, Veronica Gosling; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Richard Marcisin; a sister, Elizabeth D. Macri; and two brothers, Steve and Andrew Sabo.
