Joseph A. Deddo Sr., 89, of Macungie, died July 29, 2017. Born in Orsara, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Leonarda (Fatabene) Deddo.

He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force and later worked as a crane operator for the Bethlehem Steel.

He is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Smalser (Ralph), of Fleetwood; son, Joseph Jr. (Deborah), of Emmaus; granddaughters Jennifer Dech (Matthew) and their daughters, Madison and Morgan, Amy and Heather. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Campanella.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Cantelmi Funeral Home, Fountain Hill.
