Helen S. Kahle, 87, of Emmaus, died July 26, 2017, at Lehigh Center, Macungie. She was the wife of the late Very Rev. John (Robert) Kahle, who died in 2008. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Slota) Sikorski.

She was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1948, and Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in 1951.

She was a member of St. Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church, Emmaus.

She was an RN for the late Dr. Frederick Dry and Emmaus Medical Associates for Drs. James Clifford and Theodore Eastland.

She is survived by sons, Robert and his wife Karen, James and his wife, Rebecca; daughters, Anne Boyle, Susan and her husband David Crouthamel, Karen and her husband Mark Buss, Patricia and her husband Mark Domyan, Barbara and her husband Peter Parker; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Julia Kooker.
