It’s time to find your favorite basket and begin filling it with your cleverly themed basket ideas. Mark your calendar for St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church’s eighth annual basket social during Columbus Day weekend, Oct. 6, 7 and 8. Start collecting your items now!

Each basket needs to be worth at least $25. Feel free to drop off any nonperishable items at the parish office for the spectacular committee to make up a basket for you.

Also, the pastoral council is looking for two people to be part of the newly formed grounds crew. It is not a big commitment. Four times a year, the group will inspect the property and buildings, looking for anything that needs attention.
