Clothes, shoes, accessories and small toys will be accepted; electronics will not be accepted.
Western Salisbury Elementary School will hold a New Family Welcome 9:30 a.m. Aug. 17. Any student new to the district is invited to tour the building and learn about the ways of Western. I have given that tour many times. Come out and meet the Western family.
If you have a neighbor who has just moved into the district, encourage them to enroll their students over the summer so they can take part in these programs. The sooner the school knows about a new student, the smoother the transition into the school year.
