Rita A. Lipka, 86, of Bethlehem, died July 21, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Anna (Getcek) and Stephen Raykos. She was the wife of the late Francis “Flip” Lipka for 40 years.

She worked at the Pembroke and Muriel Dress Companies for many years.

She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church.

She was a member of the Saints Simon and Jude seniors club, the national Sokols and the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union. She volunteered at Spring Garden and James Buchanan elementary schools.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann D’Emilio and Barbara A. McCauley; a brother, Joseph and his wife Barbara Raykos; four grandchildren, Ryan and his wife Debra McCauley, Justin and his wife Jennifer McCauley, Kyle McCauley and Adam and his wife Courtney D’Emilio; and two great-grandchildren, Angelina Jade and Lochlan Freddie.

She was predeceased by a son, Francis Lipka; four brothers, Stephen, Edward, George and Robert Raykos; and three sisters, Anna Urich, Helen Sollossi and Kathryn “Kitty” Nauman.
