Aiza Nawaz, 23, of Macungie, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after an incident in the 1000 block of Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:45 a.m. June 25. According to police, Nawaz was in physical control of the vehicle at the time. According to court documents, charges were filed and also include possession of a small amount of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Nawaz later was released.
Marie Elizabeth James, 54, of Emmaus, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence and related charges after police found James allegedly asleep on the steering wheel of her vehicle along Mill Creek Road, north of Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:13 p.m. June 22. James allegedly exhibited signs of intoxication at the time, according to police. Charges were filed, according to court documents.
Debra Denise Kistler, 45, of Lehighton, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence and other charges after a traffic stop on Hamilton Boulevard at Route 222 North, Lower Macungie Township, 2:20 a.m. June 17. According to police, Kistler allegedly was found to be under the influence of and in possession of methamphetamine at the time of the traffic stop. Charges were filed, according to court documents.
Bryan Lamar Rotenberger, 36, of Emmaus, was charged with alleged intentional possession of a controlled substance, manufacture, delivery or possession with intent, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after troopers responded to the 3500 bock of Macungie Road, 5:53 p.m. June 24, for a report of a disturbance. While at the scene, narcotics were observed in plain view, according to authorities. When the narcotics were discovered, Rotenberger allegedly fled from troopers on foot. Rotenberger was later apprehended trying to escape by the roof of the residence. Charges were filed, according to court documents.
A 21-year-old woman, of Emmaus, was charged with criminal mischief after she allegedly poured bleach on the clothing of a 25-year-old male, of Macungie, causing $177 worth of damages in an incident 10:30 p.m. June 13. Charges were filed, according to court documents.
Amanda Santos, 40, of Macungie, was cited for confinement and housing of dogs after her dog allegedly bit a 42-year-old male in an incident 7:10 a.m. July 5 along Hunt Drive at Lincoln Drive, Lower Macungie Township. According to police, the dog was not confined, approached the man and bit him on the hand.
An actor entered Sally’s Beauty Supply, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Suite 4, Lower Macungie Township, and used old receipts to return items in an incident 3:57 p.m. April 18.
Four unknown males wearing white T-shirts removed two shopping carts full of various items without paying from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:15 a.m. June 26. The men, described by police as white males, fled the store in a gold mid-1990s Toyota Corolla. An unknown actor removed an air cleaner and air cleaner cover from a motorcycle in the 7000 block of Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. June 29.
An unknown actor removed an iPhone 6 cellphone from the bar area of the Foundation Tavern, 1160 S. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, between July 3 and 4. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.
An unknown actor removed money from a wallet at a location in the 1600 block of Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, between June 28 and July 12.
Reported by a 53-year-old female resident of Fresh Meadow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor used the woman’s personal information to attempt to open credit card accounts July 7.
