Parkway Pool is doing a brisk business, with the steamy hot weather a factor. Two buses from children’s day care centers contribute daily to the uptick in attendance, and certainly the Aqua Zumba classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings have boosted pool attendance.

Some readers say the free shuttle between Coplay and Northampton could be more helpful if there were two stops in Coplay - one more west on Chestnut Street for businesses on that end (preferably located at the post office) and the stop on North Front Street moved to the Community Plaza at Second and Chestnut streets, an ideal location since there are two restaurants and Giant in the immediate vicinity.
