On Canal Street, a vehicle was stopped due to a reckless driver report.

In the 200 block of Second Street, officers responded to a report of harassment via the Internet.

In the 200 block of Bridge Street, a suspicious person brought out police. The subject was located.

JULY 3

An abandoned bicycle was found on Fifth Street.

On Front Street, a cellphone was found.

At A-Plus Collision Center, 261 Race St., police responded to a fire in a tar machine.

In the 700 block of Third Street, police said fireworks were set off next to a vehicle.

The department received a complaint of fireworks on Howertown Road.

On Circle Drive, police responded to a noise complaint.

JULY 4

Police sought information on Race Street regarding a missing dog.

On Second Street, police assisted a citizen regarding a problem with a neighbor.

The department received an animal complaint in the 200 block of Bridge Street.

In the 100 block of Wood Street, police responded to a reportable motor vehicle accident.

At Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., an ordinance violation occurred.

In the 700 block of Third Street, police responded to an animal complaint. A family of kittens was found.

In the 200 block of Bridge Street, police sought information regarding an animal complaint.

Juveniles were removed from a bridge in the 300 block of St. John Street.

At Catty Mart, 547 Front St., a driver’s license was found.

At Apartments for the Elderly, 118 Bridge St., a verbal dispute occurred, police said.

Members of the department sought information regarding a vehicle stop in the 600 block of Howertown Road.

In the 500 block of Third Street, police responded to a disturbance.

A problem with a dog at a residence in the 200 block of Limestone Street was reported to police.

In the 400 block of Bridge Street, 23-year-old Rafael Ramirez, of Allentown, was charged with simple assault, police said.

A dispute over employment brought police to the 100 block of Pine Street.

A dispute over custody summoned officers to the 100 block of Canal Street.

An animal complaint in the 100 block of Wood Street was reported to police.

A cat was found in the 300 block of Race Street.

JULY 7

In the 900 block of Bridge Court, police responded to a report of criminal mischief.

On 14th Street, a 26-year-old male, of Macungie, was arrested for DUI and careless driving.

Police sought information regarding a protection-from-abuse order in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

In the 500 block of Fourth Street, police responded to a report of a verbal argument.

Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

On Race Street, officers investigated a report of a loose manhole cover.

An animal complaint brought police to the 600 block of Third Street. The owner was warned.

In the 600 block of Poplar Street, broken glass was cleaned up by the garbage crew.
