Helen Valerie Yob, 82, of Bethlehem, died July 14, 2017, at the Novant Health Haymarket Medical Center in Virginia. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Douglas) Stern. She was the wife of the late Louis Yob.

She is survived by a sister, Catherine Oliver and her daughters Barbara, Sharon, Debra and Stacy and their families; two stepsons, Louie and Brian; a godson, Phillip; nieces; nephews, great-nieces; great-nephews; and three step-grandchildren.
