Lewis J. Lengyel, 82, of Bethlehem, died July 5, 2017, at his home. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John and Lena (Bokan) Lengyel. He was the husband of Dolores (Flandorffer) Lengyel for 60 years.
He was a 1952 graduate of Hellertown HS and went to Pennsylvania State University.
He was in the United States Army as a 102nd ENG CO.
He worked for Ritter and Smith Lumber Company for 52 years in the sales and estimating department.
He was a member of St. John’s Windish Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
He was a member of the Bethlehem Township planning commission for five years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Jeffery and his wife Joann, Joe and his wife Tammy and Lewis F.; and a grandson, Jesse Lengyel.
He was predeceased two sisters, Olga Gergar; and infant Margaret.
