Lawrence E. “Larry” Leibensperger, 90, formerly of Emmaus and Allentown, died July 10, 2017, at Whitehall Manor. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Dutt) Leibensperger for 65 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edward and Barbara (Boyle) Leibensperger.

For many years, he worked as an electrician for Bollinger Electric, Allentown.

He was an Army veteran, serving in post World War II Germany and in the Philippines.

He enjoyed traveling and loved to drive.

He is survived by his wife; son, Bradley K. and his wife Stephanie Nemetz; sister, Mary Beitler; two grandsons, Van and his wife Jenica, Steven and his wife Theresa; seven great-grandchildren and friend Bill W.
