Kathryn Prospero, 91, of Bethlehem, died July 4, 2017, while in the care of Holy Family Manor. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Sarah LaFavre. She was the wife of the late Richard Prospero for 42 years.

She operated The Ice Cream Store at North and Linden Sts., Bethlehem, for many years until she retired.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Dominica Prospero and Linda and her husband James Christi; two sons, Richard and his wife Susan and James Fried; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Ernst; and 13 brothers and sisters.

Arrangements were made by James Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
