Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.
JULY 1
Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 2000 block of Canal Street.
A vehicle was towed at CVS Pharmacy, West 21st Street.
JULY 2
Police assisted a male in the 500 block of Apple Street.
JULY 3
A vehicle at Redner’s Quick Shoppe, West 21st Street, was reported stolen. The report said the vehicle had the keys left in it.
JULY 4
A protection-from- abuse order was violated in the 1600 block of Laubach Avenue.
An unwanted male and female in the 900 block of Main Street were reported to police.
Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 200 block of Washington Avenue. The report said a garage was damaged by fireworks.
JULY 5
Fraud in the unit block of Keglovits Lane was reported to the department.
JULY 7
Criminal mischief in the 300 block of East 12th Street was reported to the department. The report said the driver-side mirror of a legally parked vehicle was smashed.
The theft of a cellphone in the 600 block of Banks Street was filed with the department.
JULY 8
Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the unit block of Main Street. The department said a garage was damaged by fireworks.
JULY 10
A hit-and-run accident at 15th and Main streets brought out police. The report said the driver-side mirror of a legally parked vehicle was struck. A witness reported seeing a newer silver Nissan Rogue strike the vehicle.
JULY 12
Criminal mischief at West 10th and Canal streets was reported. Police said graffiti was spray painted on a bulldozer and bridge piers.
A fire call sounded in the 400 block of East 21st Street. Officers assisted the fire department and EMS with a report of a gas smell.
JULY 13
Officers assisted a female in the 2000 block of Washington Avenue.
Criminal mischief at West 10th and Canal streets was filed with the department. The report said two windows of a bulldozer were damaged.
