Janet J. Jones, 76, of Laurys Station and formerly of Walnutport, died July 11, 2017, at her granddaughter’s home in Slatington. She was the wife of the late Barry L. Jones for 43 years.

Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Julie (Kanas) Woginrich.

She was a 1959 graduate of Northampton High School and attended St. Luke’s School of Nursing.

She was employed by Easton Hospital for several years. In retirement, she assembled retail product displays.

She is survived by two sons, Steven C. of Laurys Station and Andrew B. and his wife Cheryl of Colorado; four grandchildren, Natasha and her husband Jesse Lewis of Whitehall, Steven C. Jones Jr. and his fiancee Victoria Balkam of Laurys Station, Jennifer and her husband Gabriel Schwoyer of Slatington and Shawna and her husband Garett Madaus of Northampton; seven great-grandchildren, Tristyn, Bailey, William, Gabriel Jr., Barry, Malachi and Raeelynn.
