Mary A. Marakovits, formerly of Coplay, died July 8, 2017, at her residence.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary R. (Csencits) Marakovits.

She was for many years a quiller for area textile mills.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, where she was a member of the altar and rosary society and was on the funeral choir.

She volunteered for the Lehigh County Meals on Wheels and the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital.

She is survived by friends Rita and Thomas Doherty.
