If you haven’t already signed up for our summer learning program (SLP), you haven’t missed the opportunity. Stop into the library anytime during open hours and visit with our “volunteens” who will gladly assist you.

Our regular activities for the SLP are:

Disney storytime, 12:30 p.m. every Tuesday

The Stem Lab with Miss Veronica 6 p.m. every Wednesday

Munchkin Music with Miss Deb 4 p.m. July 13 and 20

Weather permitting, our activities will be outside on the lawn. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Our annual Christmas in July celebration is in full swing! Stop by the library to pick an ornament from our tree and lend a helping hand to someone or an organization in the community. We have many fine groups that could use your time and energy to help them help the community.

It’s not about giving money; it’s about donating your time and giving back to your community - Building a Better World!

In the spirit of giving back, the library is running a food drive throughout the month of July. All donations will go to Coplay Recreation & Welfare’s food bank. Donations can be dropped off at the library during open hours.

We are doing a stuffed pet adoption. For a donation, your child can select a stuffed animal, and all proceeds will go to Peaceable Kingdom.

All you need is a library card; stop by the library for a card and information on registering with a pin number.

We are accepting donations for our October book sale. We no longer accept textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest’s condense books or VHS tapes.

All donations are tax deductible and can be dropped off at the library during open hours.

Our summer hours are noon-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.
