The George Taylor House committee will hold its next meeting 7 p.m. July 18 at the pavilion, Lehigh and Poplar streets. Part of the discussion will include the Aug. 6 event.

From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 21, the summer concert series in the park will feature classic rock/jam music by New Construction, sponsored by Brubaker Funeral Home, Catasauqua, at the Ampitheater, 501 American St.

The series is sponsored by Witt’s Tree Service and Brosky Insurance.

Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St., now has cash bingo every Wednesday night. Doors and kitchen open 5:30 p.m., and bingo starts 7 p.m.

There are 22 regular games, specials, a 50/50 and two jackpots.

The Biery’s Port blacksmiths and leather works are open at the Scale House, Union and Canal streets, the first and third Sundays this summer, in conjunction with the open house at 8 Race St.
