Week three was an absolutely great time at Camp Cementon. We had some new campers come and join us. We were even lucky to have a mini vacation July 4. The children were great this week, especially since it was a shortened week. We had the children participate in many activities.

On Monday, the children were a little tired from the Fourth of July weekend, but they managed to be awesome as ever. We played many games including Jump the River, Kickball, Freeze Tag and many more. It was very hot outside, so the kids enjoyed the pool after a day outside in the sun.

Tuesday was our day off, and all the kids enjoys a nice break.

On Wednesday, the kids got to camp and were ready to go on vacation. We got ready and headed on our way to Imagi Nation. The kids loved their time at this field trip. They learned about the history of ice cream, performing many activities and tasks. At the end, they even made their own ice cream. They also got a group picture at the end to be on Facebook.

On Thursday, it was raining in the morning, so we had to stay inside for the most part. The campers played many indoor games such as Limbo, Red-Light-Green-Light and Find the Bone. They enjoyed their time, and they had a pretty good time for staying inside. They actually got to go to the pool for a bit and were very happy.

On Friday, it was pouring rain in the morning. We played more indoor games, and they even got to watch a movie - the new “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” The rain eventually cleared up, and it got really hot outside. They went to the pool to end the week.

The male camper of the week was Cole G. He did a great job and deserved to win the award. For the female camper of the week, we actually gave it to two sisters. These sisters are actually my cousins. Their names are Elena and Adriana A. They both deserved the award as they did a great job.

In all, week number three was great. It was an awesome week for the kids, and they enjoyed it a lot!
