Dolores F. Steffen, 87, of Lower Macungie Township, formerly of Coopersburg, died July 2, 2017, at her residence. She was the wife of Ray P. Steffen. They were married for 65 years. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Frances (Williams) McIllwaine.

She worked as a seamstress at Richards Sportswear, Allentown. Previously she worked in the cosmetics department and as a buyer of children’s clothing at Hess’s Department Store, Allentown.

She was a graduate of William Allen High School and a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, Zion Hill.

She enjoyed doing ceramics.

She is survived by her husband; son, Brian (Judy) of Coopersburg; grandson, Nolan. She was predeceased by a sister, Marsha Beauchamp.
