If you are looking for something fun to do next weekend, the Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem is holding its annual blueberry festival. The plantation, which is located off Schoenersville Road, holds the festival 10 a.m.-7 p.m. July 15 and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. July 16.

There are a variety of different blueberry foods to purchase, as well as crafts, music, a pet parade and so much more. Stop by and join the fun!

As we get further into the hot days of summer, remember to check on your elderly friends and neighbors. Make sure they hydrate and stay cool.

Also, do not leave your pets outside in the heat. Please provide cool shelter and lots of water.
