Marjorie E. Wirth, 69, of Germansville, died June 22, 2017, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Richard D. Wirth.

Born Aug. 15, 1947, in Trenton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Paul K. and Claire Eileen (Stow) McClelland.

An English teacher at Northwestern Lehigh High School for 20 years before retiring in 2008, she was a member of the National Honor Society.

Her survivors include son Gregory C. and his wife, Megan, of New Tripoli; sisters Bonnie Weiskittel of Cinnaminson, N.J., Brenda Messera of Matthews, N.C.; and grandchildren Connor and Riley.

“It’s hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember.”

A private gathering will be held in the near future for family and friends. There will be no public calling hours.
