Join us for our annual Christmas in July celebration! This year, we invite you to take an ornament from our tree and give back to a family member, friend, neighbor or local organization. It’s not about giving money; it’s about donating your time and giving back to your community.

For our part, the library will be assisting local organizations. We will run a food drive through the month of July, with all donations going to the Coplay Recreation & Welfare’s food bank.

You may drop your donations off at the library during open hours.

We also are doing a stuffed pet adoption. For a donation, your child can select a stuffed animal, and all proceeds will go to Peaceable Kingdom.

Our annual summer learning program is now open, and this year’s theme is “Build a Better World.” Children of all ages are welcome to sign up and attend our programs.

Our regular activities will be Disney storytime 12:30 p.m. every Tuesday; The Stem Lab 6 p.m. every Wednesday with Miss Veronica; and Munchkin Music 4 p.m. every Thursday with Miss Deb.

This year, weather permitting, we will be doing many activities outside on our lawn.

We are accepting donations for our October book sale. We no longer accept textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or VHS tapes.

All donations are tax deductible and can be dropped off at the library during open hours.

The Borough of Coplay will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2019. We will be collecting memorabilia to display throughout the entire year. If you would like to loan any items to the library for the entire community to enjoy, please stop in and talk to a staff member.
