The City of Bethlehem has announced the Fourth of July city center and E. Church St. area activities.

The Bethlehem Municipal Band will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m. featuring patriotic music and old favorites at the City Center Plaza.

The annual fireworks display will begin at about 9 p.m. July 4 from Sand Island. The rain date will be July 5.

Sand Island east will be closed beginning at noon on July 4 to facilitate fireworks preparations.
