Walter Graf, 87, of Whitehall, died peacefully June 12, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

He and his wife, Agnes C. (Frisch) Graf, were married 64 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles and Hermina (Keppel) Graf.

A 1946 graduate of Allentown High School, he honorably served with the U.S. Army, and returned home to work at Bethlehem Steel for more than 43 years.

He enjoyed horse racing, playing poker and attending auctions.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Karen L. Graf-Gober and her husband, Stephen Gober, of Whitehall, and Nancy Purshock of Coplay; grandsons Maximillian and Stephen Tyler; and sister-in-law Hilda Graf.

He was predeceased by brother Carl Graf.
