If your child loves to read, summer library hours will be available for students of the Salisbury Township School District. All hours are at Salisbury Middle School 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the following dates: June 21, June 28, July 12, July 19, July 26 and Aug. 2.
The Salisbury Township Park Program is up and running. This program is open to Salisbury Township children from first grade through age 12. Activities run 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday and 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evenings. Registration forms are available at each park and online on the Salisbury Township website at www.salisburytownshippa.org. Visit the website for a complete list of the parks, corresponding counselors and planned activities.
Bethlehem SteelStacks will show free outdoor movies throughout the summer. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. at the Levitt Pavilion, 645 E. First St. Upcoming movies include “Kubo and the Two Strings” June 21, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” June 28 and “Sing” July 5.
The Lehigh Valley Zoo has some fun events coming up. A fundraising walk around the zoo will be held June 24. National Pig Day will be celebrated June 25 with activities with a pig theme.
Did you know June 29 is National Mud Day? The Lehigh Valley Zoo will celebrate with some muddy fun.
The Connie Mack baseball team has a few more home games coming up. At 6 p.m. June 22 and June 30, the Falcons host Coplay and Jim Thorpe, respectively, at Salisbury High School.

The Devonshire drop-off will open July 1, but will be closed July 4. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
