Stephen “Stip” Serensits, 78, of Northampton, died June 10, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Priscilla (Dischinat) for 50 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late August and Anna (Malits) Serensits.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He worked at Martin Marietta (Dragon Cement) and then at Pet Foods/Pillsbury for several years.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Stephen J. Serensits and his wife Brenda and David Serensits and his wife Katie; six grandchildren; two brothers, Edward and Frank; a sister, Anna Keller; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by seven brothers, August, Joseph, Louis, Luke, John, Rick and Charles; and four sisters, Helen, Theresa, Agnes and Mary.
