Joseph Holzer, 91, of Salisbury Township, died June 17, 2017, in his residence. He was the husband of Jean C. Carmitchel Csanadi. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Fanny (Bolzer) Holzer.

He was a brewery worker at the former Horlacher Brewery, Allentown, for 32 years. Later he became custodian for the Salisbury School District until retiring.

He was a member of the former Allgemeiner and Austrian clubs of Allentown.

He is survived by his wife; son, Joseph; brothers, Ignatz, Fred, Edward, Rodney, Robert, George; sister Helen; stepson Joseph A. and his wife Karen A. Csanadi, of Orefield; step-granddaughter Kori and her husband Matt Koerick. He was predeceased by brothers Frank, John, Rudolph, William; sister Frieda and a baby.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. June 22 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. A visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
