Jean M. Teklits, 90, of Northampton, died June 12, 2017, at her home. She was the wife of the late Frank Teklits and the wife of the late Ignatius Pany.

She was a daughter of the late Joseph Schneider Sr. and Helen J. (Reppert) Schneider.

She owned and continued to operate the family business, Teklits Roofing and Siding, Northampton, for the past 34 years. She was a clerk for the former Hellertown Bakery, Northampton, for many years.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton, where she volunteered with the pierogie-makers and for the church festival committee.

She is survived by two sons, James A. Pany and Frank J. Teklits and his wife Donna, all of Northampton; a daughter, Sally A. and her husband Jeffrey Holobusky of Whitehall; and a granddaughter, Nicole Teklits of Northampton.

She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Schneider Jr.
