With the combined efforts of Bath Lions Club and Troop 33 Boy Scouts and leaders, a successful flapjack fundraiser was held recently at Applebee’s Grille & Bar. It was a benefit event to purchase a park bench for the new Paw Park in Bath Borough.
A total of $479 was raised in breakfast funds, donations and tips.

Through June, Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be helping Bath Area Food Bank by collecting jelly and cold cereals. Grocery gifts cards (preferably Ahart’s) are needed for emergencies.
Drop off all gift cards in an envelope marked “food bank” on the church secretary’s desk or give it to one of the pastors.
Please note, the food bank is no longer accepting tomato soup, Jell-O or pudding.

Come on out to Bath Farmers Market, Keystone Park, Race and Green streets, open 3-7 p.m. every Friday. The market is celebrating its 10th season!
You can find just about everything you can imagine - from fresh local produce, pastured meats, gourmet baked goods, craft beer, BBQ to sno-cones.
There also are weekly drawings.
