Nancy J. (Kananen) Sandor, 75, of Bethlehem, died June 14, 2017, in her home. Born in Laurium, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Ina Elvira (Waananen) and Eino R. Kananen. She was the wife of Stephen Sandor for 40 years.
She was a graduate, magnum cum laude, from Moravian College, where she earned a degree in accounting.
She worked at Ingersoll Rand and later worked for Liberty Abstract, Bethlehem.
She was a member of VASA, a Scandinavian-American fraternal order. She volunteered at both Musikfest for more than 20 years and at the voting polls in her district.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jeremy; a daughter, Alissa and her husband Michael Day; a brother, David and his wife Kathy Kananen; nieces; nephews; and two grandchildren, Skye and Nevin.
