John F. Kelly, 69, of Allentown, died June 9, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Lynnette R. (Bailey) Kelly. They were married for 35 years last August. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Francis and Bettie Kelly, of Emmaus.
He was a graduate of Emmaus High School and the Philadelphia College of Textile and Science.
He served the United States Marine Corps as a supply sergeant in Da Nang at the height of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Luke J., of Allentown; a sister, Kathleen and her husband Michael Mellet, of Baltimore; and a brother, Father Jordan (James), OP of Washington, D.C.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. June 14 in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Calling hours will be held 10 to 11 a.m. June 14 in the church.
Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Contributions may be made in his memory to the church, 18103.
